Above: The ladies from the Class of ‘58 recently got together for a reunion at La Mamela Restaurant. (May 1999) Above: Teachers and pupils from St. Anne’s Middle School’s 6th Year last month held a Victorian Day. The event was held to ‘round off’ the pupils’ studies of Victorian Britain as part of their National Curriculum. Checkout supermarket at Marina Bay sponsored the pupils’ lunchtime meals, based on the Victorian workhouse practice, along the lines of Oliver Twist. (May 1999) Above: A charity night was recently held at Sax II nightclub in aid of Clinic Nepal, organised by Miss Gibraltar. Many thanks to local band Glow for entertainment and to all those who attended and made it such a successful event. The total cash raised was £700. (May 1999)
